Kohler Sous Faucet Reviews
I put the Kohler Sous Pull-Down Kitchen Sink Faucet to the test in my kitchen, so I do an honest review about this faucet. You can Continue reading for the rest of our product review.
Design
The Kohler Sous 10651 looks like the faucets and sprayers seen in commercial kitchens. Its flexible, spring-loaded form will appear familiar to anybody who has ever cleaned dishes in a restaurant.
This one-handle faucet looks professional with an all-metal design, massive spout, and an exterior spring. This spring wraps around a strong hose and offers far more flexibility than conventional hoses, such as braided steel.
Finish
It’s available in two colours: chrome and stainless steel. The chrome type is gleaming, whilst the stainless steel model has a more subtle, brushed surface. Overall, the Kohler Sous has a very appealing appearance, albeit the exposed spring construction may not be to everyone’s taste.
Performance with easy-to-use features
The Kohler Sous Pull-Down Faucet is a dream to operate in addition to being highly durable, well made, and beautiful. The sprayer is held in place by a powerful magnetic docking station, which prevents it from sagging or dangling.
The handle is sturdy, and it never dripped even when we shut it off. The sweep spray setting on the Kohler faucet is our favorite feature, as it creates a forceful, broad blade of water that you can use to sweep items clean.
The sweep-style edge allows you greater control over the water stream than a standard aerated shower stream, making plate washing and sink cleaning a breeze.
Easy to clean
I was able to clean huge pots with ease due to the towering height and spray and clean every nook of the sink thanks to the pull-down head. If you have a dual basin sink or need to relocate it out of the way for whatever reason, the faucet can also rotate from side to side. I appreciate how the internal hose (which you can see when you take down the sprayer) looks and feels high duty.
Spray head
Sweep spray uses highly angled nozzles to create a broad, forceful blade of water that cleans your dishes and sink. The spray head is also held in position by a magnetic docking arm.
Scratch Shield Technology
Even if your kitchen sink is a chaos of dishes, your faucet will seem spotless. You don’t need to be concerned if you have a large family and frequently use your kitchen sink. The finish of the Sous faucet is treated with Kohler’s “Scratch Shield Technology” to help it withstand scratches.
Coiled spring faucets appeal to me because of their reach and spray possibilities.
The spray and stream functionalities are in the package. It also includes a handy magnetic docking station that keeps the spray head in place when you’re done using it.
Flow Rate
The spout’s water flow is steady and aerated, with a flow rate of 1.8 GPM and plenty of pressure. The entire faucet can be turned up to 360 degrees, even when the sprayer isn’t taken out, making it ideal for double-basin sinks.
It’s also incredibly tall, standing 28 inches above the sink’s base, making it ideal for cleaning up large messes, even if your sink basin is shallow.
Installation
Installation is simple and takes around 20 minutes. Because of its single-hole form, this faucet is compatible with a broad range of sink types, including 1, 2, and 3-hole sinks. It does have a soap dispenser, but if you have a single-hole sink, you may choose not to install it.
Price
The Kohler Sous isn’t inexpensive. It isn’t even close to being reasonable. It’s a high-end item that comes at a premium price. Its exorbitant price may put off many individuals, and we understand that. It is not suitable for everyone.
Value
It’s worth it if you want a flexible, stylish, and powerful one-handle kitchen faucet and are ready to invest a little more money. Kohler is a well-known faucet company globally, and this model comes with a limited lifetime guarantee. And, in the great scheme of things, I believe the Kohler Sous will continue to keep its value.
Pros
- Easy installation
- Maximum flow rate
- Package has Deck Plate, Soap Dispenser, 29.5″ Supply Lines
- Ceramic Cartridge Valve
Cons
Expensive
